Teaching Hours

Because of the lost hours due to the pool closure, teaching will take place next week even though it is half-term. All sessions, i.e. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday will take place.

Nutritionist Meeting

S.W.S.C. has invited a nutritionist to speak to the A squad on the 21^st February 2009 at the Briar Rose at 10:00 am.

The cost is �3 per swimmer.

The other squads will follow at a later date.

Parents are very welcome to attend.

Resumption of Teaching Hours

Douglas Pool Closure

Christmas Training Sessions

I have updated the Parent Rosters to take account of the latest changes to the Christmas Training Sessions.

The "Bishopstown" swimmers are expected to attend all sessions.

Grade B swimmers will join the main squad for two afternoon sessions on Monday, 29^th December and Friday, 2^nd January.

Grade C swimmers will join the main squad for the other two afternoon sessions, i.e. Tuesday, 30^th December and Saturday, 3^rd January.

All sessions are at Douglas pool.

Pre-competitive sessions on Friday 31^st October and Saturday 1^st November 11-12am are also cancelled.

Temporary Training Times

Due to the temporary closure of Douglas Pool for essential maintenance works additional training sessions have been allocated to both squads in Bishopstown on the following dates:

Saturday 14th March: 7am - 9am
Tuesday 18th March: 11:30am - 1:30pm (A and B squads)
Wednesday 19th March: 10:30am - 12:30pm

More dates will follow in the coming days.
